The interns must be graduates or must be in their final year of study to be eligible to apply for the ABC News Internship Program. They must be available in the office for a minimum of 16 hours a week. Additionally, they must also possess excellent communication skills and have the interest to gather and disseminate news. Prior experience in journalism, either in a broadcast production house or in a classroom setting, would be an added advantage.
