The Association for Women in Sports Media has been around since 1990, helping over 200 women find their home in a sports media career. AWSM offers a paid summer internship where interns can work with MLB, ESPN, CNN, Sports Illustrated, and more. Hired interns will receive $1,000 scholarship, complimentary registration, and lodging at the AWSM’s annual conference and a complimentary one-year membership to the organization. Students who are interested in sports writing, broadcast production, social media, and media relations are encouraged to apply.
