Deloitte is among the elite Big Four professional services firm in the world. For more than 150 years, the organization has been serving major clients spanning multiple industries. It employs more than 250,000 people in 150 countries. Deloitte is a global provider of audit, tax, legal, risk, financial advisory and consulting services.

Their internship program is designed to give undergraduate and graduate students an immersive experience into the world of professional services; they will be responsible for work that is similar to those of regular first-year employees. Each is recruited for a specific service line and will be assigned to a team.

The timeline runs from January to April, and from August to November. Additionally, there are summer internships that last 8 – 10 weeks. A high majority of interns receive full-time employment offers at the end of their term. Much of Deloitte’s services lines have hard deadlines.

For example, interns who work in Tax will be burning the midnight oil in the spring working on clients’ tax returns. Those in Audit, have their own deadlines with which they must comply.
