There are three internship programs run by PKF O’Connor Davies namely, Leaders of Tomorrow program, winter tax internship and summer audit internship. These programs allow interns to further their careers in accounting. Training and mentorship are regular features of the internship program. The Leaders of tomorrow program offers interns the chance to network, develop leadership abilities and understand what it takes to have an accounting career. The program is tailored for sophomores and juniors and it holds for two days. The winter tax internship holds for about 12 weeks and it is designed to help interns work with clients, help with tax returns and scanning. The 8 week summer audit internship program immerses interns in the PKFOD culture. During this program, interns are expected to work in teams handling client audits.
Leaders of Tomorrow Qualifications: Sophomore or Junior majoring in Accounting Strong academic standing Winter Tax Intern and Summer Audit Intern Essential Duties and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work in teams. Knowledge of technical tax requirements Minimum GPA of 3.0 Ability to multitask. Willing to work long hours and on weekends. Access to public transportation or personal car. Ability to work on Microsoft Office and similar software.
