PwC is a global network and company that provides business consulting, such as taxation, auditing, accounting, strategy management, and human resource services across the world.

In 1998, PwC was founded by the merging of two companies, Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lyrbrand. Both companies had histories that originally dated back to the eighteen-hundreds.

The companies name changed and shortened to PwC in September 2010 for rebranding purposes.

With offices in 157 countries, 721 locations and 276,000 employees, PwC serves a large variety of industries worldwide: transportation services, health care professionals, consumer markets, banking, insurance, hospitality, government, energy, automotive, defense and aerospace.
